McChuills hosts acoustic nights on Thursdays and live bands every weekend. Entry is free unless otherwise stated.
From the freshest new talent to established acts, McChuills in conjunction with Get Loose Promotions is the place to catch who’s hot on the live scene.
Bands who have played at McChuills include Fifties-style rhythm’n'blues band The Bottleneckers, French Garage Rockers Les Bof, Figure Five, The Ray-bandos, top Bowie tribute act Tigers On Vaseline, and of course The Fratellis who started out and were discovered by their manager here. McChuills has also hosted several bands and DJs at the Glasgow Mod Weekender.
Weekend gigs include our club nights including Instant Whip (Mod/Soul/Psych), The Yard (Roots/Reggae/Dub), DJ Paul Molloy (Friday Street) and more.
